Bullshit, but you can lie

THE SITUATION

You sit down at a table with Bruce and Sal for a game of Shaddup. They say it's based on the card game Bullshit.

The first one to get rid of all their cards wins.

Sounds easy enough.

HOWEVER

On your turn, play one or more cards and claim what you put down.

You can tell the truth. You can lie.

When someone else plays, you can let it go, ask the table what they think, or call Shuddap (Bullshit). Call it correctly, and the liar takes the pile. Call it wrong, and you do.

Get rid of every card in your hand to win.

THE PROBLEM

Bruce and Sal are playing the same game you are.

They lie. They bluff. They remember what people have claimed. They question each other. They can back you up, throw you under the bus, or tell you exactly what you need to hear to make the wrong call.

And just because someone helps you once doesn't mean they're on your side.

Trust no one.

Dev Note: If you manage to see Bruce win a game, please post a screenshot in the comments. In my HOURS of testing, he won 2 games.

Excellent game!

This is super fun!!! I think Bullshit can fall flat because it always stirs up the pot too late, but this game gives you a chance to cause chaos earlier :)

Very nice! Speaking as someone who hates the design of the original card game, I thought other people tricking you into calling it was a fun touch. Great vibes pulled together from nice art, music, and writing all together!
